Birds of Nepal Tour - The Himalayas
This two-week birding tour to Nepal visits four main areas to search for birds and wildlife: Kathmandu Valley, Kosi Tappu in the nation’s south east, Pokhara and Chitwan National Park. Our tour will have local guides and will be led by Australian, Ken Cross who has visited and birded in Nepal three times previously.
Nepal has a huge bird list for its size - over 900 bird species! Some truly exciting megafauna is also possible in the country like Greater One-horned (Indian) Rhinoceros, Bengal Tiger, Red Panda, Ganges River Dolphin, Asian Elephant, and Indian Leopard to name a few.

Sri Lankan Endemic Bird & Wildlife Tour
Mon 27th October to Tues 11th November 2025
Sri Lanka is home and habitat for just over 500 recorded bird species, including, according to eBird, 38 Endemics. Sri Lanka also shares some species with southern India, meaning that they are regionally endemic. Suffice to say that for the travelling birder there are many species to enjoy. Sri Lanka also hosts a range of other fascinating wildlife – 125 mammal species, including 21 endemics [including monkeys, squirrels and deer], 181 reptiles and nearly 250 species of butterflies. Mammals include such charismatic species as the Asian Elephant and the Leopard.
For any naturalist, Sri Lanka is simply outstanding!

Papua New Guinea is an exotic, exciting developing nation that encompasses the eastern half of the island of New Guinea and its offshore islands. It is a fascinating country of immense cultural and biological diversity and is known for its high mountains, impenetrable rain forests, mighty rivers, volcanoes, beaches and spectacular coral reefs. New Guinea, the planet’s second largest island, was the last inhabited landmass to be explored by Europeans and roads are still yet to find their way through much of the rugged countryside. Despite its proximity to Australia, Papua New Guinea remains a frontier; there are still many traditional tribal villages, often with their own languages, where old traditions and cultures still hold pride of place.
